This coupling is useful for the end user that wants to connect directly to the tank by a GROOVED END PIPE connector.
Century’s GROOVED END PIPE connections are now available in Hetron 922 resin.
- Resin system is an MEKP cure.
- Reinforcement is wound/HLU/wound, with a full nexus & c-veil liner and mat and roving in the HLU areas.
- The outer layer is also wound for abrasion resistance.
- Presently these are available as 2″, 3″ and 4″ diameter half couplings for tank wall mounting.
- The connection area is machined to tolerances as specified.
