Molded Fiberglass
GratingMolded Fiberglass Grating has historically been a hand
lay-up composite of resin and continuous glass fiber strand that is thoroughly
wet out and woven through an open mold. This method leads to a resinous
composite which imparts good strength characteristics and high levels of
corrosion resistance. The surface is typically a non-slip surface either resin
textured or utilizing either embedded angular grit particles, or a glued on
sanded surface. The embedded grit surface is both more slip resistant and
imparts greater wear resistance than either of the other types. For these
reasons embedded grit is more preferred. Where you are
concerned with safety due to liquids and oils on flooring,
CC-Grate is the product for you. Our grating is also used in
corrosive environments such as paper mills, chemical plants, circuit board
shops and many other facilities where chemical corrosion and contact with the
flooring cannot be avoided.
