The deck-top
("plate-top") is normally finished with an embedded grit surface for slip
resistance. The plate itself can be from 1/8" thick to 1/2" thick and can be
molded to any of our molded grating patterns in all resin composite systems.
The only configuration normally stocked is 1/8" thick plate, molded to 1.5" x
1.5" x 1.5" thick grating.
There is a significant improvement in deflection characteristics imparted by
the plate and grating combination. This will depend entirely on the thickness
of the grating and the thickness of the plate.
Installation
Notes: All
grating should be fastened to the supports using
CC-Clips fasteners.
These should be used every 3’-4’ along the supports, with a minimum of four
clips on small sections.
CC-Clips
not only add safety for the employees using the grating, but also improve on
the deflection.
